I read this story from MCC in Haiti this morning. I have so much and still forget to be grateful. This gratitude, this turning to God in the face of horror that I can't imagine, it humbles me. It is more than I can understand but I am grateful that someone has written it down and that I can know about it. Click on the link below for the story.

Hymns in the darkness

I received another podcast from MCC with some thoughts about the passage from Isaiah that was part of the common readings for this last Sunday. It also has such a moving story of what happens as the Haitians begin their night's rest outdoors on the ground each night.
