All Saints Day

Today is All Saints Day and Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos.

We marked Remembrance Sunday at church about a week and a half ago,

but today, even though I was gone a lot of the day, I wanted to mark All Saints Day somehow.

This is what I chose:

A list of people who have been part of our lives and are now gone,

and a lit candle.

I addition, I'll add a recording of some music I love, Spiegel im Spiegel, by Arvo Part.

It is slow and thoughtful.

It takes about 10 minutes, so enjoy it while you move on to other activites

just listen and remember your own loved ones now gone.

According to Day of the Dead explanations on Google,

the celebration lasts through November 2.
